- Five CSEC subjects (Full general Proficiency Grades I-3) and/or GCE O'Levels/ BGCSE (Grades A-C) in English Language, Mathematics, Biological science, Chemical science and Physics AND Three double Units Cape subjects or 3 A- Level subjects including Chemistry, Biological science and whatsoever other subject.
NOTE: Physics and Mathematics are compulsory at the CSEC/BGCSE level, whereas Biology and Chemistry are compulsory at Cape/A-Levels

- V CSEC subjects (Full general Proficiency Grades I-III) and/or GCE O'Level/BGCSE subjects (Grades A-C) which must include English Language, Biology/Integrated Science/Human and Social Biology, Mathematics and two other approved subjects AND Two double Units at CAPE (1 subject from Mathematics, Physics, Biology, and one subject from whatsoever of the other field of study areas, every bit specified past the Nursing Council of Jamaica).
- Applicants may be required to attend an interview.
B.Sc. Physical Therapy

- Complete 60 voluntary hours in a Physical Therapy facility at the time of admission; at least 30 of which must be spent in a full general hospital. Candidate must make their ain arrangements for doing voluntary hours Bidder must attend an interview.
Bachelor of Bones Medical Sciences (BBMedSci)
Three years Full-Time
(Options: Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology and Pharmacology)
- V CSEC (General Proficiency Grades I-3) and/or GCE O'Level/BGCSE subjects (Grades A-C) in English language Linguistic communication, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics AND 2 double Units CAPE subjects or 2 A- Level subjects chosen from Chemical science, Biology/Zoology, Physics/Mathematics OR UWI Preliminary Pure and Technology Courses – Chemical science, Life Sciences, Physics, Mathematics OR Equivalent qualifications (as determined from transcripts).
- NOTE: Students registered in the Bachelor of Basic Medical Sciences Plan cannot transfer to the MB,BS Plan. Yet,on completion can apply to the MB, BS Programme where credits may be granted.

- Applicants must take passes at the CSEC level in the following: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Geography, Chemistry and passes at the Cape Level in Biological science, Geography or Chemical science OR an Associate Degree in an appropriate discipline.

- Five CSEC subjects (General Proficiency Grades I-3) and/or GCE O'Level/BGCSE subjects (Grades A-C) which must include English, Mathematics AND Two double Units Cape in Mathematics and 1 other subject with highly competitive grades.

Institute for Gender & Development Studies
Three Years Total-Time
- Five CSEC subjects (General Proficiency Grades I-III) or GCE O'Level/BGCSE subjects (Grades A-C) which must include English Language and Mathematics AND Two double Units Greatcoat subjects or two GCE A-Level subjects.
Iv Years Role-Time
- Five CSEC subjects (General Proficiency Grades I-3) or GCE O'Level / BGCSE subjects (Grades A-C) with compulsory English Language and Mathematics.
English: English language Language is compulsory for admission to all programmes of The University of the W Indies. Candidates who do not possess a Grade 1 in CSEC English language A, a Grade A in GCE O'Level / BGCSE English language Linguistic communication, Form 1or 2 in Greatcoat Communication Studies or a Grade A in the GCE Full general Newspaper, are required to take an English language Proficiency Test on entry.
Applicants whose first language is non English must perform satisfactorily in an approved English language Linguistic communication Test, such equally the Test of English for Strange Language (TOEFL). For information of TOEFL please visit www.toefl.org
Other Acceptable Qualifications
- Associates caste from approved Caribbean tertiary level institutions with a minimum GAP of 2.5 and above are considered as having satisfied normal matriculation requirements for entry to certain faculties. In specific instances credit/exemptions may exist given in respect of Level one courses. – higher GPA is required in order to obtain CR/Exemption based on Acquaintance of .Science degrees.
